Det ser ut til å bli nok et vellykket år for Beyoncé, som leder feltet med hele 11 nominasjoner. Hakk i hælene følger andre Grammy-favoritter som Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar og Charli XCX er hver nominert til syv av de prestisjetunge prisene. I tillegg har Taylor Swift seks nominasjoner, og det samme gjør Grammy-debutantene Chappell Roan og Sabrina Carpenter.

I kategorien Årets album finner vi, i tillegg til Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter og Taylor Swift, også André 3000 og Jacob Collier, som er nominert for respektive New Blue Sun og Djesse Vol. 4.

Kategorien Record of the Year inkluderer singler fra de seks første artistene – med unntak av André 3000 og Collier – samt ingen ringere enn The Beatles med den AI-assisterte sangen «Now and Then», samt Kendrick Lamar med Drake beef-hiten «Not Like Us».

Også verdt å nevne er den raskt voksende stjernen Shaboozey, som er nominert til en Grammy for første gang – og i totalt fem kategorier, hovedsakelig for hiten «A Bar Song (Tipsy)».
