Bandet ger ut "Six feet down under" som en upptakt till den kommande turnén i Australien och Nya Zeeland.
Metallica börjar nästa vecka en rundresa i Australien och Nya Zeeland och passar samtidigt på att släppa en åtta lång live-EP med titeln "Six Feet Down Under". Alla åtta låtar är inspelade under konserter som bandet har gjort i de två länderna och sträcker sig ända tills 1989.
På bandets officiella hemsida går det att läsa att Metallica började göra multitrack-inspelningar av deras konserter först 2004, men genom bootlegs av fans lyckades de ändå sätta ihop en EP med låtar från konserter i Australien och Nya Zeeland under perioden 1989-2004.
Metallica ger ut "Six feet down under" 20 september via deras hemsida. EP:n innehåller följande spår:
