Amsterdam-bördige Dave Cocks, till vänster i bild, var genom åren aktiv i band som Throw Down Bones och Thee Piatcions. Nu har han somnat in för gott efter en tragisk motorcykel-olycka. Det bekräftar bolaget Fuzz Club i ett statement på Facebook.
"It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to our good friend and sonic warrior, Dave Cocks, aka Davide Galli, who passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident yesterday. It's hard to accept and process what has happened and our heart goes out to his family and everyone that was close to him."
Thee Piatcions hade tydliga shoegaze-drag medan Throw Down Bones skapade experimentell dansmusik med tydliga rockinfluenser och släppte sitt senaste album, Two, så sent som 2018. Bandet är också kopplat till Fuzz Club, ett indie-skivbolag som fokuserar på experimentell rock influerad av psykedelia, shoegaze, noise, garage, blues och folk. Skivbolaget startades 2012 och Dave Cocks har varit en viktig faktor sedan dag ett.
