1995 släppte Alanis Morisette sin hit Ironic, låten toppade listorna i flera länder och Grammynominerades. Två decennier senare teamade Morisette ihop sig med James Corden från The Late Late Show och uppdaterade låten till en mer ”millennials-vänlig” version.
Den nya versionen framfördes på The Late Late Show redan i november 2015, men internet är internet och nu är den viral igen. Låten tar upp dagens ”ironiska problem”, rörande bland annat Netflix, Tinder, Snapchat och e-cigaretter. Den må vara fyra år gammal men så mycket har inte hänt; ”An old friend sends you a Facebook request You only find out they’re racist after you accept”...

James Corden är kanske mest känd för sina carpool karaoke-videor men han har även gjort flera omtyckta musikaliska framträdanden tillsammans med gäster i The Late Late Show. Bland annat gjorde han en ”medelåldersversion” av Kiss låt Rock N Roll All Nite tillsammans med gruppen.
