The Nordic Music Prize delades under torsdagen ut under festivalen By:Larm i Oslo. Priset tilldelas årets bästa nordiska album.

I år gick priset till den norska artisten Susanne Sundfør, för albumet Music For People in Trouble, med motiveringen:
"The jury wanted to reward an album that is both a bold departure for her but confirms a fantastic talent. Stark and beautiful, containing both strong classic songs and experimentation. Of all the shortlist, we felt this is simply best album taken as a whole showcasing an amazing voice."

Även svenska Yung Lean fick ett hedersomnämnande för sitt album Stranger, tillsammans med norska Kim Myhr (You I Me).
The Nordic Music Prize introducerades 2010 av den norska musikkonferensen (och festivalen) by:Larm. Priset är unikt i att inkludera artister från alla fem nordiska länder.
